BioI'm in grad school for literature. If I had my way, my degree would be in Mythology, Folklore, Legend, and Retellings Across the Ages...or simply Mythopoeic Literature. But, being as those aren't viable *scholarly* options, I'll stick with Medieval lit. I am a very spiritual person, who's working out her Path. I have a very high level of tolerance and respect for difference and uniqueness...and a very low level of tolerance for intentional stupidity.
I'm a huge nerd. Case in point: my username is derived from the name I was given years ago at the conclusion of a summerlong Narnian workshop: Lady Joyshine, radiant reflection of golden Lionlight, Knight Regent of Narnia. I do consider myself Narnian, much more Jill Pole than Eowyn.
Posts from my previous journal have been transferred over here and backdated, for those of you coming from there.
